One hundred years of history. The Hundred Crowns apartments, originally built in 1919, to serve as the School of Saint Cyril and Methodius, stands as a powerful reminder of how buildings define and breathe life into neighborhoods. When the school shut its doors in 1999, we saw an opportunity.
Our team converted this beautiful, historic structure into luxury apartments that would breathe new life into Greenpoint, serving as a new kind of meeting place for friends and families who choose to build their own futures in this dynamic neighborhood. We honored the integrity of the original building, maintaining and improving the exterior, while we gut renovated the interior to design spacious, well-appointed luxury apartments for tenants who we hope will stay and build their own legacy in this highly prized location. Several mezzanine units were built by keeping the existing floor-to-floor height, while half floors add a charming detail.
